June should feel slower than the last two months.  We have Rahu going from Kritika to Bharani nakshatra, as well as Saturn turning retrograde.  The first half of the month can be turbulent and will culminate with the full moon in gandanta Scorpio.  By second half, there is a much easier flow.

Mercury turns direct in Taurus on June 3

This would have been a difficult Mercury retrograde phase due to the tense aspects Mercury was making with other planets, including an aspect by Mars.

Now, Mercury going direct is good news.  As usual, this means receiving some clarity in matters connected to communications, travel, financial agreements.  Check to see where Taurus falls in your chart to see in which areas of life you can forge ahead now.

So, for instance if you are Aquarius ascendant, this could be connected to your home situation – including moving home, making home repairs and improvements, matters connected to your children, education plans.

Saturn turns retrograde from June 4 till Oct 23

Within this Saturn retrograde phase, Saturn will return to Capricorn on July 12 till early next year.  The few days before and after the retrograde period are the strongest as Saturn’s speed will slow down immensely.

Because Saturn energy is intensified and internalised during a retrograde, it can be felt as a time of limitation, restriction, anxiety, and fear.  This is especially so if you are in a Saturn dasha or antardasha.

Retrograde planets can surprise us by bringing forth events that are opposite to what we would expect.  The momentum that we may have achieved in Aquarius can feel lost for a few months as Saturn retreats to Capricorn to finish up its transit there. The retrograde factor can also indicate a stronger desire for that planet’s results which causes us to try more diligently to gain those fruits.

It is also a time and an opportunity to retreat and redo some of our efforts pertaining to where Capricorn falls in your chart.  Ultimately, the best results come from efforts made during a retrograde phase because it gives us the opportunity to perfect that goal

Venus conjuncts Rahu on June 14

We have had an ongoing conjunction with Venus and Rahu at this time, receiving the gaze of Saturn from Aquarius.  On June 14, the Venus Rahu conjunction becomes exact in Aries.

Whenever Rahu comes close to a planet, it tends to exaggerate its qualities. Venus represents our relationships, money matters, it also rules Taurus and thus, represents luxury, beauty, speech, food, all the sensuous pleasures.

Rahu with Venus can bring passionate attractions, it can bring the desire to get into a relationship urgently, it can also bring affairs outside our rels.  And being that this is in Aries, it can bring impulsiveness in rels, and you may feel overconfident in the areas that are ruled by Venus and represented by Aries in your chart.  Wait till after the 18th to make important decisions concerning money or rels if possible.

With Saturn’s third aspect on Aries now, this can bring some obstacles and delays in obtaining that which you desire.  If you have the Venus/Rahu conjunction in your chart, you will feel the effects more personally.  Aries, Taurus, and Libra will be most impacted now

Rahu transits Bharani from June 14 till Feb. 20, 2023

On June 14, we have yet another planetary alignment. We see Rahu moving into Bharani, making an exact conjunction with Venus, and both Rahu and Venus go into Scorpio navamsha.  Again, this suggests surprises or secret affairs and sudden endings in relationship matters.

Money matters could now see some ups and downs.  This is discussed in further detail in an upcoming video.

Full Moon in Scorpio in the nakshatra of Jyestha on June 14

If this was not enough, we have an intense full moon occurring on June 14 at 29 degrees in Scorpio in the nakshatra of Jyestha in the most difficult of all gandanta points.

Gandanta here is occurring at the end of water sign. ‘Gand’ is a knot, an obstacle, and anta is ending so once again letting go of unhealthy ways of relating is the theme here.  End of water always alludes to rel. issues as water is the element associated with rels. – it could be unhealthy or toxic attachments.

With Saturn’s aspect from Aquarius, it could mean a final break as well from an old attachment, from an unhealthy attachment.  Jupiter’s aspect on the full moon from Pisces suggests an ending that is good for us in the long run.

This could be related to what came up at the eclipse in mid-May.

Sun transits Gemini from June 15 till July 16

Then we have the Sun’s annual movement into Gemini.  This is a good transit for the Sun – free from all malefic aspects – it is especially a good transit for Aries, Leos, libra and Virgos.

Venus transits Taurus from June 18 till July 13

On June 18, we have a lovely Venus transit in its own sign of Taurus sharing the space with Mercury here.  Venus here is free from any malefic aspects.  It’s a great time for connecting with others, especially through networking, socialising, or just simply a note to say hello.

If it’s a Venus return for you, its an excellent time to start a new relationship – relationships are generally favoured now.  It’s also a good time for making any purchases, esp related to food, luxury items, beauty products, art, clothes, etc.

If you are learning a new skill or a hobby, then this is a good time for that too – you can see noticeable progress now.

Mars transits Aries from June 27 till August 11

Late on the 27th, we see Mars move into its own sign of Aries approaching a conjunction with Rahu.

Here, Mars has just passed the gandanta zone – from the 26th – you could be completing some tasks now, depending on what Mars rules in your chart.  Moving into Aries, its own sign, Mars is confident and assured here so it is a great time to take bold initiatives, start something new, take steps toward meeting your goals, and seek advice if you need it.

This is an especially good transit for all the fire signs, including Aries, Leo, and Sag.

New Moon in Gemini in the nakshatra of Ardra on June 29

On June 29th, we have a new moon in Gemini in the nakshatra of Ardra.  Rahu being the controlling planet of Ardra, we have to see where it is situated and at the moment it is 11th from the moon in Aries.

Again, this can suggest making plans and self-orientated goals.  There is an emphasis on the fulfilment of goals, and a focus on self-driven goals toward material progress.  Overall, this month can bring some relationship conflicts and endings in the first half, but a big improvement in the second half.

The focus on relationship changes and shifts continues. We have seen this to be the theme since the beginning of the year with the Venus retrograde transit as well as the transits of the slow-moving planets since last December.
